The idea of writing the Car Gnome was started many years ago when he decided to write a children's book. Thinking back to his own childhood he remembered how he found Car Gnome and thought this would be a great story to tell.
Joining up with local artist Zel who created the amazing artwork was the final piece in the jigsaw.
Book Two is already in the planning and hopefully this will not take quite as long!
Gizelle (Zel) is a Preston based artist who works in multi media including Acrylics, Clay and Fine Silks. She has worked as a teacher all over the world.
Studying Ceramics at UCLAN and Central Connecticut State University has given her the skills needed to be successful in her chosen creative path.
Her inspiration comes from travels around the Globe and nature that she has seen on these trips.
When Mark needed someone to create the characters for the book she was the ideal choice.
She also bakes amazing cakes!
